The children of North African immigrants in France are a growing and increasingly visible population. They are the product of a complex and often painful history of immigration, colonization, and post-colonialism. Their experiences are shaped by their parents' experiences, as well as by the racism and discrimination that they themselves face in French society.

This book is a powerful and moving account of the challenges and triumphs of these young people as they navigate the complexities of growing up in a country that often does not recognize them as fully French. The author, himself the child of North African immigrants, draws on his own experiences and those of others to create a rich and nuanced portrait of this population.

The book explores the many factors that shape the identities of these young people, including their parents' experiences, their own experiences of racism and discrimination, and their struggles to find a sense of belonging in a society that often sees them as outsiders. It also examines the ways in which these young people are challenging the dominant narratives about immigration and integration, and are forging new paths for themselves.

This book is an important contribution to the literature on immigration and integration. It is a must-read for anyone interested in the experiences of children of immigrants, and for anyone who wants to understand the challenges and triumphs of growing up in a multicultural society.
