About the Author
Karen Levine is an award-winning author and journalist who has written extensively about disability. She is the author of several books, including My Brother’s Keeper: Growing Up with Autism and The Village: A Thousand Faces of Autism.
Levine is a passionate advocate for people with disabilities. She is a member of the board of directors of the National Down Syndrome Society and the Autism Society of America. She is also a frequent speaker at conferences and events on disability.
