As the snow gently fell on Christmas Eve, a young girl named Lily sat by the window, her heart filled with longing. She had always wished for a pet, but her family lived in a small apartment and could not afford one.

Lily's eyes widened with excitement. "Really?" she asked. "What can I wish for?"

"You can wish for anything you want," Magic said. "But remember, with great wishes come great responsibilities."

Lily thought for a moment. She could wish for a new doll or a fancy dress, but deep down, she knew that what she really wanted was to make others happy.

"I wish for everyone in the world to be happy on Christmas," Lily said.

Magic smiled. "Your wish is my command," he said. "Now, close your eyes and make a wish."

Lily closed her eyes and concentrated on her wish. When she opened them again, she saw that Magic had disappeared.

Lily ran to the window and looked out. The snow had stopped falling and the moon was shining brightly. As she looked around, she saw that the world had transformed.

The streets were filled with people singing carols and laughing. Children were playing in the snow, and families were gathered around Christmas trees, sharing gifts and spreading joy.

Lily smiled. Magic had granted her wish. Everyone in the world was happy on Christmas.

Lily knew that she would never forget this Christmas. It was the best Christmas ever, all thanks to the magic kitten.
